This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected when you visit, provide your contact details to, sign up for details from or attend a programme organised by or, to make a donation to the work of the Convert Muslim Foundation on www.convertmuslimfoundation.org.uk (aka the “Site”).. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Convert Muslim Foundation strictly does not store any credit/debit card details. We refer to this information as “Client / Membership Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Client / Membership Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Client / Membership Information that we collect generally to fulfil any contact with or attendance at organised events requested through the Site. Additionally, we use this information to: Communicate with you and when satisfied with the details you have shared with us, provide you with introductory or detailed information relating to our projects or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our clients browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our service provision).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell or otherwise transfer your details to any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing. However, we may from time to time contact you as a means to keeping you up-to-date with upcoming events, projects or educational opportunities from us or our partners / collaborators.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We may have ticket sale on our Site for events organised by another organisation. When you purchase such tickets your details will also be accessed by the event organiser.

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please Contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an application to avail of one of our educational programmes through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate service provision and interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION

When you make an application to attend any of our events through the Site, we will maintain your Client /  Membership Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

ONLINE SECURITY

The entire website www.convertmuslimfoundation.org.uk is covered by a SSL Certificate. Your connection to our website is always secured and protected.

Your payments are also protected by Stripe. All of your card information is submitted to Stripe servers and is not processed on our servers. By using our online payment services, you consent and agree to your information being submitted to Stripe for fraud screening and to collect payment with your choice of payment card. At Stripe, we do not store full card details and only store the last 4 digits of your card and we only use this information to confirm a refund is being made to the same card.

DECLARATION

By using our Site and by contacting us and leaving your contact details using our ‘Contact us’ page you hereby consent and agree to our terms and conditions.

IMAGES

If we should upload images or posters on our website relating to an event organised by you and which we endorse you must confirm that you have the copyright of image(s). Please DO NOT send us any pictures copied from Internet due to copyright issues. We will only upload images taken by you or your friends or family with their prior permission. It is your responsibility regarding any picture we upload on our website, confirming, it belongs to you. If anyone claims otherwise... you will be responsible and liable.

Our website may contain links to other external websites. We are not responsible for the information on external websites. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the linked site. We only provide the links as a convenience and for information / advertising purpose.
